Triple K Holsters
I am looking to getting into Cowboy Action shooting and I am wondering if the Triple K Cheyenne holsters that Cabelas sales are any good for this. I don't want to go relatively cheap and regret it because they are non usable for action shooting or are hard to unholster and reholster into them.

Can't help you with the CAS question but almost all my carry holster are Triple K and the quality's great.
I use this company http://www.cowboyneeds.com/index.html their prices are about 35% lower than anyone else.

I don't do CAS either, but my carry holsters are from this guy. He forms them to bp guns really well.

Triple K is usually pretty good stuff but stay away from Oklahoma Leather for CAS.

Well I would say they are OK for the price but there is a lot better out there. But it will last you for some time till you get a better idea but thats more $$.

I've got the triple K Cheyenne rig from Cabelas for toting my SBH in a drop leg/buscadero rig. It's good, stiff, thick leather.
That said, I think you may want to check the CAS rules on drop leg/ buscadero type holsters before purchasing. They're somewhat limited there,IIRC. |
