.22 Newton

A cartridge developed by the great Charles Newton. Originally it used a 90 grs .228 bullet, 3100 fps. Newton designed this round because he wasn't satisfied with long range potential of the other 22's that were around at the time. Basically it is 7x57 case necked down to .22.

I was wondering if anyone have had any experience with this cartridge. Also I am looking for a original .22 Newton case.
