I am unfamiliar with larger shot sizes and went looking for buckshot at Walmart. The largest shot they had was #1 steel shot. Is this what I have heard referred to as "#1 BUCK"? Is does "BUCKSHOT" indicate something that #00 or #000 or #1 do not indicate? Where can I get educated on this?

Start here ...
http://www.remington.com/Ammo/pages/...exp_bucksh.htm

Then just about any of the ammunition manufacturers should have info as well: Federal, Winchester, etc.
