Which should be my next Glock
My LGS just became a blue label Glock dealer and being a corrections officer I am wanting to take advantage of the opportunity. I currently own a 30SF and have been thinking about a 21 but I want something a little different/unique. I like .45 so I'm trying to decide between the 41, Gen3 21SF with threaded barrel, or the 21C. He can also get a 17L which is also neat but I don't know much about it and I don't really need another 9mm but it's sort of in the running. I have been told that the "C" model pistols have been known to crack at the ports but can't find anything about it. Can anybody give me any information on these models that might help me make a decision

A Sig 1911?
In all seriousness, I have an acquainted who really likes his 41. Try out the fit and feel before you buy though.

I've never really been a fan of the long slides but I have always been interested in the 41. If I had to choose I would go with the 41 just because I own a G17 Gen 4, but that's just me. Depending on your application, I would personally steer clear of any of the compensated pistolas...they are loud, bright, and just plain not needed for any calibers that glock offers them in.

....Then again, I love my Glock 20. You could step up to the big boy 10mm!

41 is a nice gun, been handling a few and thinking about it.
The OP wants info about Glocks, that's not a SIG.

Glock 35 or 34 would be my first choice and 17l or 24 as second. As you can see I love the long slides.

If you like different could always try a Glock 36. The Glock that Glock lovers hate. Maybe that is why I like them.

Glock 41, adjustable backstraps and thinner and lighter than the G21. It's also a .45acp, love mine.

Agree with Dirty Harry - G20 or G20sf. 10mm is very hard to beat in a conventional-sized auto pistol.

Hate the glock 36? Why would anyone hate such a fine handgun? Compact, light, .45 caliber, points and shoots great. I am also leaning toward a 41 or a 21, but I am drawn to the long slide for some reason. So there is your answer...36, 21, and 41. Collect all three.

I recently got my 26 on the blue label program. I like it a lot, it has become my go to carry gun now. What ever glock you get you can't go wrong with the blue label program!

The G41 has caught my attention also. I wonder how the recoil compares to the G21?

The Glock you have may be your answer...
The Glock 30S is a little thinner than yours, and both are a top carry gun bar none. I own the 41 and the 30S, the 41 is a great gun but it is not a carry gun for most in most circumstances, although the extra inches in most holsters don't make that much difference ... I did a video having a shootout between the two Glocks, and they both performed very well ... and this was with two new guns that I was unfamiliar with. I shot both from 7 yards to 100 yards not knowing where the sights would hit. I usually take a new gun out of the box and shoot it at 100 yards first to see where they are hitting to sort out the gun, as 100 yards shows a lot very quickly. In this video the 41 sights were not on like the 30S sights were at 100 yards, so I shot it again after a little Kentucky windage and it did quite well...
You may be looking for the best gun and not appreciate the fact that one you already have is it!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODohwI4XU2U

zzzzzzzz
I own the 41 its badass in all aspects cept for some brass flying back at me ocasionaly. Recoil wise its suprisingly a little more than my 17. However if its gona be your duty piece id go with the 21 as the 4.6" barrel seems better suited for your aplication. Imo.

If you consider 10mm, consider the 29 over the 20. Little more packable. Love mine.

I own the G30 & G21C.I have thousands of rounds through my 21c. have not seen any sign of cracks at all & I like to shoot it with warm loads,Can't really tell any noise difference others have spoke of but the C, DOES seem to flash worse in low light not real bad but u can tell. Both are great Glocks, proud to carry either one.
