Remington triggers

undefinedundefinedundefined
I'd like a schematic or detailed picture of trigger systems for remington 700 and 788 rifles. I've successfully adjusted my 700s but not wanting to take the assembly apart, I'd still like a clear understanding of how they work, and whether a striker is used in the trigger itself. Also, can the 788 pull be adjusted by changing the spring? Lastly, is there a low limit for safety when adjusting these triggers, other than the obvious? Thanks

All I can say is the low limit seems to be around 2.25 lbs on the one's I've done. After that they can get dicey if you drop one.
