What do you carry?
Other than your gun, wallet, and keys.
I always carry my cell in my left front pocket with my wallet and my knife in my right front pocket with my keys. My cell has a LED light on it and my current knife is a swiss army one. Thats about all. Cell? Knife? Flashlight? Lighter? Pen? USB memory drive? MP3 player? Camera? PDA? What do you carry... and what else is there to carry?

by myself or with the hubster????
...'cause when he's along, it's 50-50 I'm carrying his keys or something else he's toted along. "Can you put this in your purse, dear????" Snort.
Otherwise: Bersa Thunder .380 and maybe Springfield XD-40 (but usually just the Bersa) two extra magazines for whatever gun(s) I am carrying lockback knife...very useful thing, should have gotten one years ago licenses Palm Pilot cell phone blood glucose meter, glucose tablets (sometimes have low blood sugar) pens, checkbook, credit card(s), usually all useless except for the pens chapstick tylenol sinus (worth its weight in gold in Texas, allergy capital of the world) various recepts that clerks keep HANDING ME instead of putting them in the bags of stuff I've bought (exactly WHEN did this become the way they did things????) keys, that have a little flat push-button flashlight on the keyring Springmom

It changes with the weather.
There is no excuse not to have at least a j-frame on hand. I also carry a beretta folder and a surefire flashlight. If I just have one carry gun, I will bring a reload. |

We all seem to carry so much stuff these days that it would seem a male "purse" would be in order. When cell phones were larger, this may have been acceptable for guys, not the case any more. I carry keys, change, wallet w/ credit cards and ID, checkbook, daytimer, cheap Gerber pocket knife or Swiss Army knife (tinker model), cell phone, pens, and S&W 442.

I carry:
In my right pants pocket: Keys, USB pen drive with all my important files, (on my keychain) In my left pants pocket: 2 3/4inch folding knife. 5$ to 10$ of change. Pen. In my right back pants pocket: Wallet with no more then 20$ cash. And my Bank card. In my left back pants pocket: Multi-Tool On my left wrist: Watch. In my left shirt pocket: PDA (Palm m515). No gun though not legal in Canada. If it was or if I moved to the US I'd carry a BP revolver just for kicks. Number of times people have tired to rob me: 2 Number of times I stoped them: 2 Dimitri

At least 1 pistol (2 depending on where I go), extra mag, and a cell phone. If I know it will be late, then a Stinger. Kershaw blade always goes with me.

I'm a minimalist.
-P-3AT w/spare mag -Wallet -Car keys -Cell phone And I USED to carry a mini-pocketknife. Until thus Thurs. I figured since the TSA is allowing them now, I should be good. But noooooooo. I went to see my daughter's bell choir perform at our county courthouse. Rode the bus with the kids. Buss took off, will pick us up in 1.5 hours. The coursthouse has metal detectors. NO LIL' POCKETKNIVES ALLOWED. No way to put it back on the bus. So I went outside and hid it under a bush. After the performance, its gone, and some cheap pink pocketknife with "Karen" on it is in its place. So Karen has my knife. @%#^$%.

Hmm,....
In fall/winter, Carhartt work pants, surefire E2E in left leg pocket, carpenter pencil, pen, and pen sized pepper in right leg pocket, small l;ocking folder and single vehicle key set in right rear pocket (can easily get either without digging thru other junk) wallet, checkbook, ear plugs (don't leave home without them!!), extra set of keys, change if in town, otherwise change lives on seat of truck, swiss army knife, leatherman tool. Every evening when out in the hills with the dogs, cartridge belt w/ about 25 30-30 rounds, old Winchester 94 carbine, about 10 extra rounds in r front pocket, and a few light loads for snakes (summer)or bunnies, Randall knife, dog rope, waterproof match case, trioxane fuel tabs to start fires, gloves, and as needed, hat, parka, sorrel packs. Cell phones don't work well until about 10 miles from town. That puts me about 25 miles out of range most of the time, unless lucky and you can find a sweet spot. |
