Alternate to IMR/H 4895
I've always used H/IMR 4895 for most of my rifle reloading (6.5 thru 8mm, all the usual suspects) but I'm looking for an acceptable substitute. I already have some 3031 ... 4064 ... Benchmark. Question: If I were to pick up 8-16#, and shoot 140-150 grain bullets, which would YOU pick?

Since you mention 6.5 and 8mm being reloaded with 4895, I'm going to assume you mean 6.5 Swede and 8x57JS.
I'd stick with IMR 4064, I use it pretty much for all my standard rifle loads except heavy 223 loads where I use Power Pro 2000-MR. Of course ANY standard rifle powder will work, you won't know what works best for you until you try. Jimro
