SS finishes

i just got back a pistol that was stolen 9 years ago, a SS colt commander. what type of finishes can i get put on? does NP3 or Wilsons Armour tuff adhear to SS?

I don't know about those finishes, but I'd check out Arizona Response Systems' "Metacol" finishes. Beautiful and they will make it stick to SS.

XXSUPO, I believe the NP3 will work. Armor Tuff will as would hard chrome or teflon. George
