You're right Clembert, the cylinders I bought and were fit for me by Taylor's are R+D's from Howell,they are the distributer for R+D, I should have clarified that, flathead

The R&D conversion cylinder for my '58 Remington needed the cylinder pin bore reamed slightly. After that, it has performed flawlessly. Not easy to build accessories for a product manufactured by another company and to not especially exacting tolerances, so some fit issues can be expected.
