Cleaning Mold off of a holster.
I acquired a box full of old leather gear some of it has mold on it. Is there a product I should use to clean it or are they a lost cause? Thanks in advance

Any good saddle cleaning product (I have used Leather New for years) will remove mold from leather and properly moisture the leather and protect it in the future. Saddle soap may be cheaper but then you have to add your own water, etc.

Ballistol...
As posted, a leather cleaner, conditioner & wax may help.
John Bianchi the ex-cop & CA National Guard officer, who wrote the gun leather care book could guide you. Ballistol may work also. It's non toxic & CFC free. I've used it on wood, leather metal, plastic. Clyde |
