Desantis Trickster holster for LCP - too tight
I really like my Uncle Mike's #1 for front pocket carry, but wanted to try back pocket carry as well for my LCP, so I picked up a Desantis Trickster. It resembles this picture...
http://www.lapolicegear.com/desantis...r-holster.html The outside is very smooth black leather (I guess) and the inside is a very short suede or suede-like material. The pistol fits very tightly, and the tightness seems to be focused on the trigger guard, where it rubs against the stitching. It would be extremely difficult to extricate from one's pocket as it is, especially minus the holster. What's the best way to stretch this holster for a good fit with easy release? Wrap the pistol in wax paper, jam it in and let it sit? Should I moisten the leather as well? |

I'd jam the gun in holster and let it sit for 24 or 48 hours. That should loosen it up for you with using wax paper or a plastic bag.
I would not put water or any type of leather softener on it.
