can you recommend a holster?
I'm looking for a owb holster for my glock27. I have a RSR defense kydex that I really like, but it sets too far off my hip. It has a nice adjustable cant but it sets it too far out. I'd like to stay with something that sits high, and has a solid hold on the weapon. ....also tight to me side.
Thanks |

I've had success with all of these. Blade tec being my favorite but Sidearmor has a very nice OWB that snug’s to the body well.

I'll definately give K&D a big recommendation. I use one of their tuckable IWB and a belt, both of which are excellent quality and of the utmost comfort.
I'll add a few: http://www.simplyrugged.com/ Great stuff, I absolutely love their ammo pouch. http://www.highnoonholsters.com/index.html Great holsters readily available. Not the most ornate, but very functional for fair price with lots of styles. Packin Heat is a great place to get Galco and Bianchi holsters, both companies are great for non-custom orders. I use one of each. http://www.donhume.com/ I love the JIT Slide from here. Sturdy, durable, and cheap. These are some I've looked into, but not used personally. http://www.comp-tac.com/ http://rlcompanyusa.stores.yahoo.net/index.html http://www.mernickleholsters.com/index.htm http://www.epsaddlery.com/default.aspx I've recently come across DM Bullard and have been thinking about ordering a new holster from him. Haven't decided just yet if I "need" one.

Two suggestions: the El Paso Saddlery street combat or the Tagua Gunleather quick draw. Both will keep it close to you and are real leather, not nylon. Both are also lined and won't wear you finish as quickly.

Man, there are just so many to choose from. I really like my Mrs, the retention is good and the release is very natural but it's just too far off the hip. I use a supertuck for iwb and may go with their owb I'd just hate to end up with 6 holster I don't like. For some reason I like the kybex/composites over leather.

I really like the desantis speed scabbard for owb. Stays close to the body and very comfortable. Priced right too, about $65.00. Also, this is a leather holster.

If you're the type to appreciate a work of art in leather, take a look at Pure Kustom Holsters. Workmanship is top notch, Rocky is incredibly pleasant and patient on the phone and turn around time is nil. Just got the black ops pro for my Kimber in dark mahogany. I don't believe it will be my last holster from Pure Kustom.
