Wow, I just ordered 300 Hornady A-Max 155gr .308 bullets through this sale and it cost me $48 with shipping. Great deal going on here guys, but they are going fast. I missed out on the 168gr A-Max's in the time it took me to fill out my credit card info, they went from instock to gone!

trying to put them in my cart...

Yeah, same thing here, 150 grainers became unavailable while I was finishing up with the credit card, so I got 168 grainers instead....

1K should last a while for my K31.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I got the 41 Magnum (.410) 210 grain bullets I needed. 300 of them in fact.

I found out about it in a email from Midway and here on TFL from lgsracer's post. You can subscribe to Midways newsletters and email specials on their website, I usually get 1-2 emails on specials and clearances from them every week. Glad you guys have been able to get in on the savings. When I first looked at their site earlier they had 5 pages of bullets listed, I see they are down to 3 now.

I just snapped up 500 of the .355" 124 gr. so I can load some plinking loads for my wife's G19 and 200 of the .284" 139gr.

Both of these are for teaching my son how to shoot. He's 4 and I'm planning ahead.

Is $23 for 100 .45's good?
$11 for the bullets $12 for shipping
Im just starting reloading and so far Ive been using whats been given to me but that seems expensive, the shipping kills it.
Or are my price guesses off a bit

I ordered 1100 yesterday...I just happened to need some and saw the sale. Has anyone tumbled bullets to clean them? I'm not sure how blemished these will be but it sounds like you could give them a bit of a cleaning like cases (maybe not if they're not completely jacketed or are poly-tipped?), if they're especially ugly.

Tom - Save up, keep your eyes open and make a larger purchase. Also, some others places like http://www.wideners.com also have some good prices and specials. I usually try to pay an average of about .10/bullet after shipping, for .30 cal, .44mag, .45ACP, whatever.

If you're reloading, it's hard to "save money", but buying in bulk at least gives the appearance of it.

Tom. Unless you're shooting from a Glock check out some cast bullets...way cheaper than that.

I pay about .06/bullet for 125 grain 9mm and .08/bullet 180 grain 40 cal. You can get .45 bullets around that price range.

Do a search for cast bullets on this forum and you'll get hundreds of possible sources. Midway's Oregon Trail bullets aren't too high either.

Dosent lead make a mess?
I never shot lead, my father has it drilled into my head that lead is no good.
Is their any drawbacks to using lead, is it hard to clean up after?
Sorry dont mean to hi jack this thread

Tom - search this forum for "lead poisoning", you will find a lot of info. Many folks won't touch lead, I am one of them.

I got mine from UPS a few days ago. I opened up one box of 100 to check them out and in 100 bullets only 1 had slight discoloring. The bullets are extremely bright and in excellent condition. Well worth the money.

I'll throw up a couple of pics when I get home for you. My 41 Caliber (410) appear to be XTPs and I can't find a blemish on them

Got mine yesterday. Can't find a thing wrong with them. For the price, I expected them to come in plastic bags but they were neatly boxed in Midway re-usable blue boxes!

I just weighed a few and they seem to be .9 gr light. Maybe that's why they were on sale. Any way, I promised a couple of pictures. And I deliver.

Out of the 400 I purchased, I'm yet to find a "blemish" with any of them!
