Ohio restaurant carry coming up for House vote
On Wednesday May 11 (tomorrow) the Ohio House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on House Bill 45, which (a) legalizes concealed carry in establishments that serve alcohol (as long as the carrier is not consuming alcohol), and (b) removes numerous restrictions on how a concealed carry licensee can transport a loaded gun in a motor vehicle. The Ohio Senate passed a similar bill some time ago by a lopsided margin; the House vote is expected to be much closer.
Also scheduled for a vote is House Bill 54, which brings Ohio's provision for removing firearm disability in line with the Federal government. Any Ohioans who haven't already contacted their Ohio representative, it's time! Zeko
