I got 4 extra mags to. I see your point.
I think the ammo from J&G is Polish and I have read it's not the best surplus. I guess I should also wait til I have my hands on the gun before I buy 1200 rounds of ammo

I see Privi sold out in two places for $16. Box of 50. Local gun show is next week so I will go from there.

I ordered 5 boxes of Privi for $18 each. A local guy is selling loose 72 rounds for $25. He has 10 bags of 72. I offerd to buy 5 bags for $100. He won't sell. Says his Polish surplus is priced comparable to new manufacture. I wished him luck.

I wonder if reload components are also scarce for 7.62x25? May be a new caliber I need to reload for. I have about 1100 rounds of polish loose in an ammo can, but once fired that brass can't be reused/reloaded.

I do reload them for a CZ52 after saving fired brass with a 95 grain cast lead bullet, Lee dies. Brass or loaded boxer primed ammo is no cheap though.

Ammo is drying up. I found some new PRVI 7.63 Mauser online, but they literally had nothing else to sell. All the Tokarev, NATO, etc., ammo was gone, sold out. Looks like reloading is going to be popular real soon.

Went to a gun show today and with all the ammo vendors there, I could only muster 6 boxes of 7.62X25 at $30 a 50 rd box. I may go back to the guy with surplus 72 rds for $25.

They're about giving away the PPS 43's now...that's one pistol that's come down in price- because the milsurp ammo is now gone (or what you can find, is priced darn near the same as new boxer primed brass- so what's the point...).

Bought a Yugo M57 for my son a couple years ago because it would be "cheap" to shoot...no longer...

7.62 x 25

I would love to hook up with some of that ammo too. I am surprised that Wolf is not stocking shelves with that caliber.
