Magpul stock length
Just bought an 870 tactical 7 shot. My GF and I love the length of the stock. We wanted to get a magpul SGA stock set for it. My question: Is the SGA the same length as stock? I know it's adjustable to some extent.

The Magpul can be adjusted from 12.5 to 14.5 in 1/2" spacer increments.

It comes with four shims to change LOP. I believe one or two will be the same as a factory Remington stock.

Yeah it comes with 4 shims that you can add to the already setup -setup, its very awesome.
Extremely comfortable 'pistol grip' to hold your hand on, very nice shoulder 'purchase', all in all the best stock for a shotgun i've held...PLUS- As i did, you can buy a fairly cheap adapter from Magpul to add your own recoil pad, as I added a LimbSaver, which not only looks good, and helps in the shoulder stability, it COMPLETELY CHANGES the feel of shooting the gun, I mean recoil reduction is OUTSTANDING, pain is eliminated, flinch is non existant, it just doesn't recoil like a 12 gauge, it just PUSHES your shoulder.. I mean it goes from a 12 gauge shotgun to a Tactically-deployable weapon system and real option as far as a combat weapon . |
