Price check - aisle 47
Given the recent unpleasantness.......is $1000.00 for a Romanian AK47 in new condition a reasonable deal ? Phoenix metro area, if that helps qualify anyone's assessment.
I don't need one, but I am starting to feel left out with all the panic buying. I wanted.to put my money where my mouth is with respect to the current administration. |

If its a Century AK FORGET IT. Another Romanian manufacturer is SA Cugir who makes the SAR series of AK clones and IMO they're not bad, not on par with Arenal and others but not bad. The average going price for a Century WASR lately is around $850, that still seems ridiculous to me since they used to be $350 NIB once upon a time (2007). I would shop around and try to pay no more than $600, but definitely no more than $850.

Hell no. Those were $500 guns a month ago. $700 tops for one now.
****, you've got Arsenal Inc in Arizona. |

There are still unconverted Saigas out there for ~$450. Toss in a $150 conversion kit from CSS and a Saturday afternoon, and you have an AK that is much better than any Romanian WASR IMHO. |
