Cleaning a Beretta A391 Extrema - mystery O-ring fell out
Doing a thorough strip and clean of an A391 Extrema.
When I pulled the bolt out and disassembled, a mystery O-ring (split, BTW) fell out onto the pad. The O-ring is very small ... maybe 1/4" in diameter ... and appears to fit around the firing pin inside the bolt according to the only exploded view I could locate through a cursory Google search. http://berettaweb.com/sezionati/sez_EXTREMA_TWO.htm See #77 But didn't see any seat for an O-Ring inside the bolt. So, anyone have any light they could shed on this mystery O-Ring? |
