New York Post Slams Hunters
As a gentleman from another board so eleqently put it:
"One cannot refer to the shooter as a hunter. One must use the accurate term "poacher" as there is no current open season on humans in any state. " _______________________________________ New York Post Slams Hunters In a news article about the recent shootings in suburban Washington, D.C., the New York Post refers to the suspect as “gunning each (victim) down like a hunter picking off his prey.” Later in the article, former FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt describes the suspect this way: “He probably is or was a hunter who is used to hunting other game, and now he wants to hunt humans.” To read the full story, visit http://www.nypost.com/seven/10042002...ews/48708.htm. Well, there is some lurid prose, here and there. It's not nearly so bad as the blathering from the anti-gun crowd...
Your quote about "poacher" is a bit too profound for the average media-twit... , Art |
