S & W 646

I was intrested in buying a S & W 646 to shoot in IDPA. When I started looking into buying one I found out they were discontinued, does anybody know what happend to these? Hopefuly S & W will come out with a moon clip cut L frame for IDPA.

646 for IDPA

Hey Nordberg:

Man, I empathize. That looks like one trick revolver for IDPA. And thos L-frames are so nice. But they are a bit scarce now. And I must say I reserve some skepticism about that TI cylinder even apart from "why bother?". You might take a look at a 610. Bbbl is just under 4". You can go with either the .40 or the 10mm. It's not so expensive.
