Mossberg 190 Questions

I have a Mossberg 190 kb bolt action 16ga shotgun. It came with what was left of a c-lect- choke when I got it. I was wondering if I can use the regular screw on choke some of these guns came with?

Nope. Different threads. Best solution would be to cut the old choke off and have tubes threaded, but that would cost more than it's worth.

I would first try the Mossberg Collectors Parts Dept:

NMCA
PO Box 487
Festus, MO 63028
Telephone: (636) 937-6401
Website: www.mossbergcollectors.org

Then I would try the PolyChoke Co second, for what you need. http://www.poly-choke.com/
(PolyChoke makes a current version of the C-Lect Ckoke)

IMO, your problem is getting parts correct for a 16ga bore (Mossberg discontinued all 16ga guns by 1974).

thanks for the info I will have to look into those sites. I looked at my gun and the barrel looks different from the ones in the pictures. it doesn't flare at the end like those do.

I don't think the flare is the barrel but that is how the c-lect was soldered to the barrel. Does your choke look more like this?
