A + 1 to
- .327s in LCR, and a small frame (SS). Add to this a midframe .32-20 convertible - levergun in above. While they're at it, now that the old USFA seems gone as our last great hope, would love to see Ruger get into the "cowboy" lever market - with Win 92 style 32's, 357s, 44's and 45s. - resurrection of the .32 H&R in both adj sight and Vaquerito form. 327 that'd shoot both would be great, but failng that, at least the H&R. - resurrection of PC 9mm, .40 and .45 Carbines - put on a 1/2-3/4 pound diet (to bring to M1 Carbine level). They're overdue for return to the pistol carbine market. - .44 Sp GP100 3" - blued and/or "koted" 1911's. I'm starting to really yawn at the dominant stainless theme out there. I'd also like to see resurrection the Speed Six .357 2-3/4 - 3". Of these, I think the LCR is quite possible/likely, and the midframe .327/.32-20 as a special Davidsons/Lipseys type distributor run. I asked for the only two things Ruger hasn't made me:
9mm LCR and mini that takes AR mags. The LCR is a matter of time and the mini will probably never happen. |

I asked them for a Mini-14 in 300 blackout, shouldn't be too tough for them.

I would like to see a scaled down 5 shot snub revolver in .32 caliber, either .327, .32 mag, or .32acp. With the thinner and shorter cylinder and frame it could make for an ultra reliable and small backup/pocket gun. I don't consider J frames or even LCR's pants pocket guns unless I want to walk around with what looks like a potato in my front pocket.

All I want is a SR45C and re-introduction of the PC line.

Ruger should make a Combat GP100 in .357 Magnum with a 7 chambered cylinder (there's room) and a 2 1/2 inch barrel with adjustable sights, and also a Combat Redhawk in .357 Magnum with an 8 chambered cylinder, a 3 inch barrel, and adjustable sights.

I think the Redhawk in .357 magnum, with a 7 1/2 inch barrel would be a splendid idea.
The pistol caliber carbines are, in my opinion, one of the waves of the future. A high capacity, folding stock carbine in 9MM, .40, 10MM, 45 and perhaps 7.62X25 Tokarev would be very welcome additions to their product line.

(we can dream, can't we??)

Biff, my friend, that isn't a dream. That's a nightmare. And a very bad one.

I believe the PC line would have not only survived, but thrived if they had been offered with the options of syunthetic folding stocks and high capacity magazines.
At times, the senor Mr.Ruger was his company's own worst enemy. He chose to offer the buyer the products that he thought trhe buyer should want rather than those products that the buyers actually wanted. An attitude that many potemtial biuyers interpreted as arrogance.

SR45 compact?...
Did anyone list a Ruger SR45 compact .45acp?..
I'm sure it's on Ruger's R&D staff's drawing boards but maybe gun owner/gunners requests would speed it up. I don't think a LCP in .45acp or .40/.357sig would sell very well but a SR compact might. CF |

If we all sent a note to Ruger’s CEO for a 101 or 100 in a 44 special maybe we can get them off there buts. I have been sending a request every month for close to a year. Every one HELP!!!

+1 for Ozzie! (Tx for the link BTW)
I'd also like to see more of the SP101 in 9mm. A 2" snubbie and a 4" version with adjustable sights like the .357 Mag. Maybe a .40 S&W GP100? And while we're at it: a mid frame FT BH convertible .40S&W / 10mm.

Thank you treg
But to add a note I actually get an answer after several weeks on each one and it changes each time so I don’t think it’s a computer generated “get him off our backs” note. But it’s mostly a not at this time reply.

LCR in .40S&W, 10mm or 9x19mm...
A +P rated 9mm(9x19mm) or .40S&W/10mm Ruger LCR could have a lot of interest in the USA. Semi auto pistols are extremely popular & a LCR BUG(back up gun) or as a 2nd gun could get a lot of support.
Charter Arms & Taurus USA put out small frame snubs in .40 & 9mm so it can be done. Ruger could get a big part of the concealed carry market for armed professionals or license holders who want a revolver back up for a .40S&W or 9x19mm sidearm. CF |
