Trigger adjustment on Tikka T3

Hi everyone,
as the title say's can you do this. I haven't ever tried to and did a search on here and online. I got a few threads and stuff online but not really very much. Can just a simple guy with basic tools and skills adjust the trigger on a T3 Hunter or is it a gun smiths job ??

Yes its very easy to do, Ive done the trigger on mine.
If you have the instruction manual that'll tell you how to do it other wise online it'll be somewhere.
But basically you take the stock off and there is a screw in the trigger mechanism that you adjust with either a torx head or hex screw driver.
It'll take all of about minutes and if you can use a screwdriver you will manage easily.

Thanks Trg, it was second hand when I bought rifle so a search for manual will help. Just wanted to check in case I screwed something up

It was a while since I adjusted mine but I belive there is only one screw that will easily moveand it looked quite obvious which one it was.
I just set mine on the lightest setting (2 pounds), and it is very nice. Feels as good as my mates very expensive timney trigger to me.
