Paid less than that for mine new. Granted, it was before the latest crazy rush. Still, I think that's high.

Re: Used G23 Gen 4 price?
It does seem high, new ones around here are going for around $600 and this has extra mags and night sights, he said it has about 200 rounds thru it. Just curious.

200 rounds is still pretty much new. That isn't that bad of a price, IMO.

My LGS sell them new for $560 for a gen 4. And gen 3 will go for about $20 less.

Glock ships the pistols new with only two mags, no? The two extra mags are easily worth $50-60, maybe more.

Yes and no. New Gen 3 pistols come with 2 mags, new Gen 4 pistols come with 3. The extra magazine is only worth about $30. The night sights? Worth about $60.

I would have gladly paid the other price for the model with extra mags and night sights. I don't think that was a bad price at all. The night sights are a good $80-$120(maybe more) depending on the brand/style.
In either case, good gun and I think you'll like it. I prefer 9mm, so I have the G19, but I love it.

I think you'll love your new G23 Gen4. I got one almost two years ago and am pleased. I added 10-8 night sights and got a Lone Wolf 40-9mm conversion barrel which also works in my G27. Nice to be able to swap to cheaper 9mm for practice.

Wholesale is around $475 from Zanders. Fixed standard sights.
