Need a little help here guys and gals. I have the chance to purchase a S&W Model 48. This is a 4 screw 6' barrel .22 mag. The gun looks to be near 100% blue. Has ring on cylinder from turning and ejector rod shows some blue wear. Other than that it looks perfect and has the box and paper work. Gun is tight between cylinder and forcing cone, no end shake. Price is $275. What do you think?

Sounds like a very good price to me.

I'd be tempted at that price, and I'm not even a fan of the .22 Mag.

Smith & Wesson is dead to me.

If you want a Smith & Wesson, buy USED!

Buy it! If you don't, email me the phone # of the dealer and I will.

No you don't Gary. Condition One and I are in the same town and if doesn't jump on it I'm closer.
Yes, I would say that is a very good deal and after you get it I expect to get to shoot it some time at the Andy Dalton Range.

I'll concede so long as it stays in the TFL family. It would have been a sweet addition though.
