Glock grips sizes and caliber conversion questions...
Few questions,
Is a glock 22 lower the exact same as the 17? If so are they compatible to swap uppers? also is the g22/17 compatible with the 34/35? I have found a good deal on a g22 that I am interested in, I would like to do a stippling job and undercuts + file off the finger grooves on it. then eventually put a zev trigger into it, my goal is to buy a g34/35 at some point and be able to use the frame with all the modifications that I did on the 22 on the 34/35 without having to go through all that work and expense on a brand new glock. Also would a .22lr upper work on both the 22 and 34 lowers? Do the .357sig and 40s&w factory barrels interchange between each other? Say putting a g31 barrel into a g22? I don't know if the outer diameter of the barrel of the .357 would work in the .40 slide.. Any help is appreciated!

I'm no gunsmith by any means, but I believe the only differences in the G17 & G22 frames are the ejectors. Don't hold me to it. Anyone else know?

Brando1992 Few questions,
Is a glock 22 lower the exact same as the 17? As SIMP noted, the ejectors are different. 9mm ejector will appear bent compared to the .40 ejector. If so are they compatible to swap uppers? Yes, but you may experience ejection issues due to the different ejector. Some do, some don't. also is the g22/17 compatible with the 34/35? Yes....same frame. It depends. Some aftermarket .22 conversion slide assemblies are designated for the 19/23, others for the 17/22. The 17/22/34/35/17L/24 frames are identical....except for the ejector. Do the .357sig and 40s&w factory barrels interchange between each other? Yes. Magazines are also interchangeable, only difference is the followers on .357 and .40 are different. Say putting a g31 barrel into a g22? I don't know if the outer diameter of the barrel of the .357 would work in the .40 slide.. It should.
