I picked one up for $379, ended up being a bit over $400 with tax and background check. I think it's an interesting gun though some may question the need for a compact DAO .22LR. S&W offers this configuration in the Model 43C, which costs more but weighs considerably less.
I think the Ruger's advantages are price and reliability. I like the stainless steel cylinder over the alloy cylinders in the lightweight S&Ws, and with the barrel shroud cast as part of the frame, there is no chance for a canted barrel, something that has become a problem with recent S&W revolvers. |
