Just bought a Mossberg 590

When to the gun range yesterday to install a buttstock on my saiga rifle and the owner showed me some new toys that he just got in and there she was. I got it for about $345 , is that a good deal ? It shoots smooth and nice just how I like em.

Is it new or used? Is it a mariner or parkerized. I just bought a parkerized 590 with ghost sites and it is the one with the 20'' barrel and I spent $250.

Congrats on your new baby. I've been thinking about picking up a 590 myself.

590 with heat shield and bayo lug

I just got one from Bass Pro Shops for $360,so I would say it was a pretty good deal[as long as its legite]

I kinda had a hard time with BPS.
I just wanted a 590 with pistol grip and they ordered a 500 by mistake.
The manager was kind of {radio edit} with me.
The salesman made the mistake not me.
So anyway they ordered me another one with a speedfeed stock.
The manger told me you can't get a 590 with just a pistol grip from the factory.[ sighs ]

When I went to pick it up it was the plain stock, but had the bayo lug which I didn't expect[sweet]
So I just kept it since I was swapping the stock out anyway.
They focus more on hunting then HD needs, I guess.

Needless to say I'm not ever ordering a gun again,at least from BPS.

Yeah, nothing from remington can match the 590 for the price. Remingtons are nice guns, but the mossbergs aren't far behind in terms of quality, and they're not as pricey.

I had the opportunity to borrow my uncle's 590 mariner, and if he ever wants to sell it, I'll be first in line to buy it from him.
