Galco leather... opinions?

I just ordered a Galco Wheelgunner holster from Ruger (I had a 20% discount), it cost me about $55 shipped. Anyone have any experience with Galco? I liked it because it can be fixed for strong side or crossdraw and carries the gun high and tight to the body. The gun is my New Vaquero .357.

Thanks!

I've been carrying my RIA CS, in a Galco Avenger OWB for about 6 years now, I just clean it about once a month, its held up quite well, considering I wear it about 365 days out of the year.

I have 2 Miami Classic II shoulder rigs and like them a lot. Galco customer service is first rate as well.

The only Galco holster I have is one of their polymer Matrix series for my 1911. Doesn't see much use, since I don't carry my 1911 aside from on the range. It's too tight on my ParaUSA, but fits other models well to the point I've decided not to modify it (for the eventuality of my getting another).

My father has atleast 1 Galco leather holster that I am aware of. As far as I know its been a good piece of gear, but he doesn't use it much either.

Never the less, I never shy away from Galco when looking for a new holster, just always seem to find one I like more from other companies.

I carry a lot of various Galco leather holsters. They are well made, fit the gun they are made for and are fairly priced. Some of the best holsters out there in my opinion.

I carry a G19 or G23 in a galco m4 Matrix paddle. It is a comfortable and secure holster. Highly rated! This isn't a summer holster however it is great for fall, winter and early spring when you would wear a light to heavy cover garment.

Warmer weather I use another maker's IWB.

Galco provides some of the best off-the-shelf holsters in the business.

Thanks everyone! I really like to look at a holster before I buy, but for a SA lover such as I it isn't an option in this area, there just isn't much interest in revolvers. From the responses here I believe I will be pleased with the product.
