Mossberg 590 Barrel

I was looking for another barrel for my Mossberg 590, and wanted to know if anyone else has seen what I am looking for. I want to find either a longer barrel with a choke, or one that is the same size 20" with a choke. Any help or direction would be much appreciated.

Try www.havlinsales.com. I just checked and found these two.

LENGTH
CHOKE
FINISH
SIGHTS
OTHER
PRICE

20” BAY
ACCU
BLUE
GHOST RING FRONT SIGHT
BLOW-OUT PRICE
$79.99

20” BAY
ACCU
PARKERIZED
BEAD
BLOW-OUT PRICE
$79.99

Click on the "close out barrels" link and you'll find the above under the 590. I've bought an 835 barrel from them and they were great to deal with.

Thanks, that seems like a lot for the barrel, costing about 1/3rd of what I spent on the gun.

80 bucks is cheap for a barrel. I paid 129 for a rem 870 barrel and got a used 835 barrel off ebay for 90 or so (that was a pretty good deal).

I doubt you'll find one much cheaper.

Oh ok, wasn't sure on the prices, and that was the only one I saw that was for a 590 that was not the standard open choke one. Thanks again.

Just looked at the prices and model before, just realized that what I need is a parkerized with ghost sites.

You may still want to give them a call. They may have something not listed on the web page. It's a husband and wife outfit and they keep a lot of hard to find Mossberg stuff on hand.

Alright I will do that and let you know how it pans out. Thanks again.

How many rounds does your mag tube hold? The 835 barrel fits on the 590, and the 835s are available with screw-in chokes.

Alternatively you could use the 6-shot tube and barrel from the 835 and extend it with a Choate extender... they go up to +3 rounds (9 total).

It holds 9 2 3/4 rounds, however I haven't been able to find barrels over 20 inches because of the bayonnet.
