Enfield Jungle Carbine Stock
My dad has a Jungle Carbine he bought at gun show awhile back. Mechaniclally it is in great shape, but the stock leaves much to be desired. It looks as if a previous owners had taken a poicket knife and tried to "sportorize" it. Does anyone know where I could look to find relapcement stocks and parts for a #5. Thanks in advance for any help!

Are you sure it really is a #5 "Jungle Carbine"?
There were a huge quantity of faked bubbaised #4 & even #1 fakes made Check the barrel rear for lightening cuts & for maker & serial # before you buy a #5 stock & try to fit it to a bubba-5. |

TONS of info here about the Jungle Carbine #5 & the fakes. I would read over this first, make sure your IS a true Jungle Carbine before trying to locate a stock for it. Post what you come up with.

As with many popular types of mil-sup rifles, parts and wood for the Jungle Carbine have largely dried up.
Here's some places that may carry parts. You may have to buy a #4 rifle stock and modify it to #5. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...spx?catid=5833 http://ssporters.com/ http://www.sarcoinc.com/ |

You can try ebay too, although I don't remember ever seeing one on there.

There are several No5 butt stocks listed on evil bay right now, it's the fore-end that hard to find. If you have the wood working skills you can make a No5 fore-end and hand guard from No4 parts.
