Favorite .357 load

Hey -- Just found this forum and this is my first post...

I've got a Desert Eagle .357, one of the original models, and I'm trying to find a good load for it. I've used 12.0 gr of Blue Dot with CCI small mag primers pushing a plated 125 gr flat point, with some success. It chrono'ed out with an average of 1451 and std dev of 33 -- a little higher than what I like. There were no signs of over pressure...the cases looked good and the primers weren't flat. I've got those bullets and I just picked up some 158 gr. TMJ's.

But I'm always looking for a better load. So, any pet loads that you have I'd like to hear.

Thanks

I have used this load in a 10" TC Contender. Do not own a 357 mag barrel for it anymore though. This load is too hot for anything except Contender, Encore, Ruger Redhawh, and Ruger Blackhawk
19.5 grains 2400 behind a 125 grain JHP CCI mag primer.

For Ruger Security 6 with 4" barrel I use same bullet & primer, but only 14 grains of powder

Anybody have a H110 or W296 load for the 180 grain bullets?
