Alaskan 454 loads

Has any one been loading 454 Casulls for a Ruger Alaskan (2"+ barrel)? I load 35grains of H110 with a 260gr JFP bullet for my 7 1/2" FA model 83 and am wondering if the much shorter barrel of the Ruger will require a whole different load or powder. Thanks for the help.

I'd load a heavy for caliber bullet, 325 to 360 grains, and use bullet weight to create resistance, and, more velocity.
Or better, get a 360 grain bullet going 1000 fps, and, you'll not find much that can stand up to that loading...
