338 RUM, in short supply?

I was all excited about getting some reloading gear - for my new 338 RUM. So today, I went to the largest relaoding supplier in the Portland OR Area. They were out of most 338 reloading items!

Will try Midway.

338um

Sir:
I've had the same trouble with my 9.3 stuff. That 338UM is a tremendous round - I've got a new 338 WM and 338UM reamers, some brass and little else.
But, as the Forum is probably sick of hearing about it, I'm caught up in the German 9.3X62 and 64 cartridges. And, the 416 Taylor. I'm amazed at the "terrible recoil stories" about these big calibers - they are really pleasant to shoot, along with the 44 mag, 480 ruger and 454 casull.
On deer and smaller animals even these rifles just punch holes due to bullet construction. On "big stuff" they are the tent-stakes point!
Maybe you could try Midway or Brownells or RWS or Norma!
Go on the internet and just type in "cases."
Good hunting, and I'd use a heavy bbl on that monster.
