Has Anyone taken their safe interiors out?
Hi everyone, noob here to the forum. I recently relocated and purchased a replacement safe. It is the browning medallion series and I bought it with the light kit. Problem is the light kit is not that great. It doesn't allow you to see much past the top shelf. So I added some low voltage LED light strips along the sides and under the shelf.
Works well but now I want to make it look professional, has anyone taken the interiors out before? If so...tips, hints, tricks? I attached a pic of the safe with the Browning lighting then with the added lighting and a close up of one of the short strips. Thanks everyone, Rich Last edited by GTS Rich; September 16, 2011 at 05:28 PM. |

Interior safe lighting
Pics #2 & 3 really look awesome. With my limited vision at age 60, i think i will steal your design & put some inside my "treadlock" safe i have owned for 20 + years. Thanks for the idea !!!

Guru, No problem. Glad I could help. I used adhesive velcro on the backs of the light bars so that I could arrange them anywhere in the safe.
