Question about FMJ and TMJ.
What's the difference ? and is "copper plated" in this same group ? I tried to search for an answer but did'nt find what I was looking for, I see all of these in reloading manuals and assumed they were the same but have never known for sure, sorry if this seems like a stupid question, and thanks for your help.

FMJ bullets (full metal jacket) have a solid nose, and the core of the bullet is visible in the base.
TMJ (total metal jacket) has a solid nose, and a sealed base piece over the core so the core is unaffected by gases. Copper plated bullets are not in this category. The plating is much softer than a gilding metal case. Load plated bullets with cast bullet data.
