Loving me some CZ
Everything I've read about the CZ 75 has been good, and I just haven't been able to get my Ruger SR9c to shoot accurately...... So when I got the opportunity to swap my Remington 16 gauge shotgun even-up for a new CZ75-B, I did the deal. Put 120 of my reloads through it the other night, and all I can say is, everything good that's been said about this handgun is true. Great fit in my hand, points almost automatically, and accurate. Not a single hiccup on the first time out, functioned flawlessly. I'm going to shoot this one a LOT!!

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the CZ family, but now you've gone and done it!
Once you buy a CZ and hold it in your hand, it becomes an addiction where you'll be selling nearly everything else to get another. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php |

Maybe if you're shooting bullseyes at 50 or 100 yards will mechanical accuracy matter (though even then, I suspect ammo makes a bigger difference). I love my CZ's because they make it easy for me to shoot well. I think one of my earliest comments when trying out rental guns was that they gave me an 'unearned feeling of accomplishment' (for shooting a single ragged hole at 7 yards, back when I was frankly a pretty terrible shooter). It goes without saying that the reverse will be true of many shooters - the ergos on the CZ just won't work for them, and they'll be better off with something else. |

My Cz75 is definitely my favorite pistol. Any of you folks have experience with their bolt action rifles? Are they as high quality? I want to get a long range rifle in .308. I've always heard the Remington 700 was the way to go but I would give a CZ a try if they are of equal quality.

The rifles have a great reputation, but the closest I've come was getting to fondle a used 455 Lux (.22 LR) at a LGS. I don't have enough experience to remark on the quality of the action, etc., but the detail and finish was just gorgeous.
I still regret not purchasing it, but I live in the city and just don't have the space for any long guns right now. Le Sigh... |

For the most part they all shoot very well and are quite accurate. As a caveat, every one has been...quirky. Short leades, rough internals that take time to wear in, sticky bolts etc. Once the bugs get worked out they are fantastic. |

I bought a CZ p01 about 7 months ago. It has excellent ergonomics and w/ 542 rounds through it (mostly commercial reloads) it's had -0- stoppages.

Yeah, I had heard that about CZ pistols having rough internals, machining marks, burrs, etc, so I looked mine over closely when I field-stripped it for the first time. Maybe I got lucky, but this one didn't have any obvious roughness.
Feed ramp is nicely polished; no burrs or machining marks on slide or frame. Trigger pull is long and gritty, but I expected that, and am thinking it will smooth out with some rounds down the tube. |

Love my CZ75 compact. Never one malfunction and sits in the hand better than anything but single action armys for me.

I use a 97B as my carry gun. Also have a 453 varmint. Excellent rifle. My a CZ52 is a blast to shoot but that's from a different era.
Enjoy your new pistol and welcome to the addiction. |

My CZ75 is my favorite 9mm pistol of the six that I have.
On a semi-related note, my little CZ70 is sturdy and fun to shoot, and my FiL's CZ83 is very nice. |

CZ it tops. And at the top of my group is my Rami, followed by the PCR D. Alas, they get to rest this summer since I got a Mod 2 .45 for carry in a hot, sweaty warehouse. I had to get my Rami cerakoted last yr after sweat caused bubbling around the controls.

I have thought about trading my Sig 226 for a CZ 75B. Still trying to decide.

I have definitely fallen in love with CZ ever since I picked up my P07. It just feels better than any other gun I've ever shot. Makes me want to try out one of the steel framed ones.

Congrats. CZ has become my favorite gun manufacturer. My 75B has also been flawless, but so has my Kadet, PCR, 97B, and hopefully my 75 pre B I just acquired but have not shot yet.
Get the Kadet Kit .22 conversion unit. Yeah, they are $400, but they are worth it!
