Shotgun Speed Loading for Action Matches
I am building a 9 shot Remington 1100 shotgun for action matches that speed loading will be required. I got some Tec Loaders for this. The problem is they don't work very well as the shells hang up at the mouth of the magazine tube loading port. Does anyone have any photos of how they beveled this area of the gun to make them work? I have some ideas but don't want to whip out the Dremel until I'm sure of what others may have done. Any other tricks or tips for speed loading a shotgun?

Sorry, I don't have a clue; but, like you I wouldn't wanna Dremel my R-1100 unless I knew exactly what I was doing. Have you contacted the makers of your speed loader? If anyone knows what to do, I'd think it would be them.
Good luck. |
