whats a browning 2000 worth
I have a fellow that is trying to sell me a browning 2000 for 225 it is clean except in the boar where there is some rust

I'd snap it up, rust or not. They haven't imported those for many years, so I'd ask to run a box a shells through it first. They're nice shotguns.

They go for $300-$350 it would be a good buy. I had one at one time and loved it, but has others and never shot it. Pretty guns.

alright i picked it up. it is a standard 12 gauge made in 1977 and uses 2 3/4 shells. I polished the muzzle and that seems to have taken out the rust

Here's a link for a pdf file of the owners manual if you didn't get one w/ the gun. You may want to keep an eye open for a good deal on a 3" barrel for your B-2000.
