looking for a blue gun
hi all,
i'm new to this forum, as i've not had this problem before. i'm trying to find a blue gun for a hi-point .40 SW, and i can't find one anywhere. anyone seen one for sale? thanks. Randy |

Have you tried police equipment stores? (I don't know if any will carry a blue gun for what is normally a BG weapon; most of the stores I've seen carry blue gun versions of PD carry weapons, but it's worth a shot.)
I take it your usual blank maker doesn't do hi-point blanks? |

Honestly, at the cost of a HiPoint, you might just as well buy the pistol. It only costs about as much as maybe three blue guns. (Edit: the blue Glock 21 I bought for weapon retention/takeaway training ran me about $50, hence the "three blue guns" cost estimate.)

i'm almost there with you, but the likelihood of using the gun to mold another holster is pretty slim i'm guessing, and $200+ is a bit much for a single use. the customer is 5 states away, so getting the gun here would be costly.
