Unlimited Price for Semi?

What all guns should I consider with basically a unlimited price. Ive looked at the SBEII, Vinchi, Benelli 400s, SX3s, Browning Silver and Gold. Im stuck on wood or camo as Im going to be getting a 26" barrel no matter what and using it for turkey and upland game so Im not sure. I like the wood alot better but the camo is much more rugged and less worrysome.

I would put the Beretta 391's in there as well ... ( the Browning Gold's are only available in 10ga now ) ... Winchester is owned by Browning ( and Browning's parent is FN ) - so the Browning silver and the Win SX 3 are the same mechanically. It isn't about picking a mfg / its about picking a gun that fits you !!

but I think you've got the better guns covered.

for Turkey - you'll need a camo gun / or its a hassle to camo up a wood stock gun.

Personally, I would go with a Benelli. I like the inertia system / and just make sure you pick a gun that has their comfort tech system in it / and you should be fine. I think a 12ga with a 3" chamber is plenty of gun ...

Since it is basically for hunting, look at the Beretta A400 Xplor........currently running new about 1700.................will handle 3/4oz 12 gauge loads up to your basic 3.5" orthopaedic surgery hunting loads

Im really liking the Xplor Light, it seems to fit my needs but may be a little to nice and pretty for turkey so I dont know weather to look at it or a camo. I think its between the SBEII, 391 in Camo, and the Xplor 400.

I have the SX3 and really love it. I have Benelli's also, I now prefer the SX3 over the Benelli.

Forgive me for butting in pabuckslayer. You probably know a lot about the guns you have been looking into, but this one guy has had some problems with a 400. Of course, with an "unlimited" budget, there is always the Cosmi - the Rolls Royce of semis.

I kill a turkey almost every year and a lot of years I'll take 2. I also get my fair share of waterfowl. I'm p***ed no one ever told me I needed a camo gun! I can't beleive all these years I've been using the wrong guns.

Best turkey gun I ever seen was a browning lever action. 22 rifle....not that I ever shot a turkey with a rifle or know anybody that has..just rumors

Ok its limited, thats a lil to much. Ive been using non camo guns to and take lots of birds. To me the camo is more functional and less to worry about but the wood grain makes me smile

I like the Benelli M-2's for a hunting gun. They are lighter and simple to break down. Some of the gas guns such as the Beretta's and Winchester are great guns, but are heavier and more complicated than I want. The gas guns have a bit less recoil which is more important on a gun you are going to shoot thousands of times per year on a clay's course.

I don't need or want 3.5" capability, but think highly of the SBE from Benelli too.

Try the Cosmi. It's made to order in Italy. IIRC, they start at $17,000....

I didn't see any one mention it......The Browning Maxus. I got one last year for waterfowl hunting. I knew I would also be using it for some dove hunting. It is a great gun. It will handle the heavy loads as well as the light loads which some of the guns mentioned have problems with. I have put about 450 round through it on the skeet range with out a problem. I like that I can go out and shoot 3in #2s for ducks one weekend and then turn around and shoot 2 3/4in 8s at the skeet range the next weekend
