Is it worth it?
Today I found a Smith Wesson 19-4 with 2 1/2 inch barrel. The gun is unfired with the rounded finger groved combat S&W grips. Its gorgeous and definitely unfired. They want 575.00 as its a consignment gun. No wiggle room. That's one I don't have in my collection. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

Buy it. You won't like it though, so I'll buy it from you for your cost plus shipping.

If it is truly unfired, then yes, get it. That is a good price; at least, by judging from prices here in VA/TN for an unfired snub 19.

When was the last time you saw one for less?
When do you think the next time you're likely to see one for less will be?

I regularly see 4" model 19s that have definitely been fired go for that much. Get it quick!

I think you got a very nice revolver at a very nice price. What you paid is not a "steal" in my neck of the woods but a better than "average" (whatever that is) price. You won't regret your purchase imo.

I agree ...its a good deal. I like the model 19's a lot ...although I prefer the 4" barrel in the K frames...and the Sq Butt frame...( fits my hands better ).
Enjoy it !! |

Well it looks nice.
How long will it stay in unfired condition?

What a sexy revolver. I've wanted a K frame combat mag for sometime now, but I keep holding out for a deal on one. After that, I plan to search for a unicorn.
