Ear Protection
Anybody got any suggestion for high quality noise canceling headphones? I don't mind spending some money but the two hundred dollar jobs are a little more than I can afford right now. Also what about glasses? The cheapo's that I have now work fine but I'm always up for suggestions when it comes to trying out newer, bigger, and better. Thanks in advance.

Glad to hear that you are protecting your eyes and ears, you can't replace either of them if you lose them.
Peltor Ultimate 10 muffs are a great bargin and IIRC have a noise Reduction Rating of 29, one of the highest in the business. They are around $20 or so. Electronic muffs that cut out the gunshot but let you hear your range partners or the range officer as very nice too. Look at walker and Pro ears. Howard leight makes very nice ones for the money. I use the regular old smith and wesson shooting glasses, they are betwwen 20 and $30. I also use regular safety prescription glasses with side shields. For louder rifles and pistols I use ear plugs and muffs at the same time - we call it 'doubling up' and it really takes the edge off bigger calibers. Hope this helps.

I have a pair of the Radian Enhanced Ear plugs. Once I got the volume and the treble/base tone controls set up properly, I like them. IIRC, about $70 in the door.
