I noticed in SGN that they sell bulk rifle powder, but no listings for pistol powders. Any of you order bulk pistol powder from one of these outfits? Do they send load data with them? Where/who is the best business to order 30 cal bullets(308)?

I get most of my bulk powder from Weidners.

Most powder Mfg's have web sites with reloading info.

The last time I ordered bulk pistol powder was back in 1992, I ordered 8 lbs of WW231 from weidners. It lasted me 8 years. 231 goes a long way at 5.1 grains a pop.

If you talking "Pulled" powder, like the Pulled IMR4895.. use the regular IMR4895 data.

Midway USA is a good place to buy bulk 30 cal bullets, unless you'll settle for even cheaper "pulled" 30 cal, if so www.gibrass.com.

They do have pistol powders. You may know them by other names. I have been happy with the IMR4895 I got. I bought 8 pounds in a clorox jug for $64. It works just as well for me as the $18/pound IMR4895 from the gun store. They have diffenent ages and pull down. I think I got the worst they had and I can't find anything wrong with it.

I can see if you are shooting .2" groups in competition, you would worry about every variable. My guns shoot 1 1/2 to 6" groups no matter what kind of 4895 I feed them.

If you buy pulldown 4895 be aware that the 1990's pulldown is closer to 4064, so check with your supplier for which data to use
