.44 240gr. loads with universal clays.
Title says it all. Used up my last can of Unique and I can't find any anywhere.
Looking to duplicate my 240gr. SWC with 8.0gr. of Unique load. Got plenty of Universal clays on hand, of course I have to refrain from using it for trap loads or it will go real quick. Anyone have a good load using Universal? |

Easy ... Just load 8.0g of Universal Clays and you've duplicated the Unique load. Basically you can use them interchangably,
For example from my chronograph: __Unique 8.0g, 240g SWC, CCI-300, _998fps Universal 8.0g, 240g SWC, CCI-300, 1001fps

Thanks, I thought as much since they have the same burn rate but since none of my reloading manuals had any data I thought it prudent to ask.
Plus I like the velocity boost. Last edited by Brutus; July 14, 2013 at 11:36 AM. |
