I succumbed to the madness

Went shooting at my lgs at lunch, shot my Walther P38,Ruger LC9,and LCP. They were speaking again on the radio about them pushing for the ban,so I put a Beretta 92FS on layaway.
I've been wanting to buy one anyway, but figured better now, than not being able to get one in the future.

A fine choice. I'm sure you'll love it. Stow away as many hi-cap mags as you can get.

I shouldn't have read this thread!

I've always wanted a 92FS.....and they may be neutered and expensive for a while....

Seems like I'd have a better chance of finding hen's teeth than magazines right now.
Everybody is OUT OF STOCK!

There's never a bad reason to buy a Beretta 92FS.

For the record, I don't own one yet, but I got a pair of factory 15-round magazines off MidwayUSA (FACTORY new Beretta mags, only $19.99, good on Midway not to exploit). When I do get one, I don't want the neutered 10-rounder.

Edit: Wow, still in stock

OP, don't feel bad. I have gotten a xdm 45 compact and a mossberg 500 since the first of the year. Like I needed another 45 and self defense shotgun.

Happy to help. Beretta makes some of the best factory magazines there are, very durable and reliable, so they should be able to outlast any ban for a good while.

They'll come in little ziplocks, not blister packs, but that doesn't bother me.

Couldn't wait, went to the lgs at lunch and picked it up.
The salesman laughed out loud and said when I bought mine yesterday they had 9 Beretta 92FS's, half an hour after I bought mine, the rest were sold.
Guess I was pretty lucky to get one.
