Expedient repaired MN M27s

Does anyone have a M27 stocked in 91/30 wood? Does anyone have "first hand" knowledge of any (used to have, physically handled, know someone who has one)? I have one, and I've heard 'round the boards of others, and its an interesting topic/version. I've started researching this area, and I would appreciate any solid information.

I'm aware of the sceptacism about these already and not interested in arguments, so please, only real "first hand" info.

It gets a mention here, about 2/3 of the way down the page.

I've heard about M91s in M91/30 stocks, and have a M28/30 in a M28 stock.

Thanks

Saw that. I'm looking for individuals who have "hands on" experience with one. I'm trying to see how many may be out there, and in what sort of shape.
