Where to hunt yotes in WI?

http://dnr.wi.gov/org/land/wildlife/..._areas/map.htm

Can anyone recommend a Wildlife Region/area which is dense with coyotes? I am taking a trip up there soon and would like to know which areas are best for yotes.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Since It relates... what load would you use to hunt yotes? I have used Hornady 62 gr TAP in the past but am open to any and all recommendations.

I have two uncles that run em with dogs near Boscobel wisc,,,which would be in grant county I believe.. I think there is plenty of DNR owned land around the wisconsin river in that county.

I live not to far from Boscobel and he is right. There are thousands of acres of DNR land in the lower Wisconsin River way and Coyotes are thick.

Check with the DNR about the areas you are considering because some areas will be closed due to camp sites or private property issues. They can tell you better than we can. As for me all I need to do is go to my back field and look over the fence at those acres. Neighbors with sheep, goats and cattle are pretty enticing to the coyotes, especially in the spring. We get a few every once in awhile just by chance.

Thanks a lot, fellas. I re-routed the trip to Boscobel after reading a bit about it and checking it out on Google Earth. OldGrump, thanks for the tip on contacting the DNR to make sure they clear my trip.
