I have 2 SD40VE reports:

1. I was at the range when my friend was shooting his next to me. Factory ammo. The pistol literally disintegrated in his hands. The frame broke into multiple pieces. I've never seen that happen before or since. To SW credit, the bought it from him for retail price. My friend spent the money on a different pistol.

2. My brother absolutely loves his and is accurate and reliable... go figure.

I guess in any machines, you can get some lemons. Yours was made on a Monday morning by a guy with a hangover I suppose...

Born in mid 2012, revived in early 2013 and now back again in late 2013--but it's not going to live until Halloween!
