Swivel Studs on stock are loose...(lock tite?)

The studs on the stock of my remington sendero are too loose for me. When i put the sling on it, it tends to get tangled around itself...

Has anyone used lock tite to stop this? I didnt want to try it because the stock is a aramid fiber and graphite composite synthetic stock. I didnt know if the lock tite would cause the stock to deteriorate...

Had the same situation with my Sendero. I've just made sure that I didn't let my sling rotate much. (I do love my Sendero. Out of the box .73 MOA with a cheap scope, with heavy magnum loads!) Is there an escuchion in the stock? My guess is red loc-tite, with a nylon washer.

I hate to have to "watch out" for the sling to keep it from rotating around... But i guess Ill shoot some of the red lock tite down the threads here afterall, only thing it says it contains is methacrylic ester, i dont know if ill have any problems with the stock breaking down or not...i really doubt it, better to know before hand though...

This seems to be a problem with the H-S stocks....the same thing happened to my VS's front swivel. It wouldn't center right. I did the thing with the red loc-tite, but after humpin my gun around once last summer, the swivel came loose again. Now, I just deal with it...kinda annoying with a Harris bipod attached to it.

I'd use Acra-glass - the steel bed formula Acra-Glass.

whether the screw goes all the way through or not. If it does, glop some JBWeld on the end of it inside the stock. If not, I'd use some Marine Tex in the screw hole.
